Mercado Automation is a small business owned and run by Josue Mercado in El Cajon, California. This policy explains what information we collect through mercadoautomation.com and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. If you choose to, you can also give us your business name and mobile number and agree to receive text messages. When we text with you, we receive your phone number and the messages you send us.
When you visit the site, our website host (Cloudflare) and our font provider (Google Fonts) may automatically receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type.
How we use your information
We use your information to answer your inquiry, follow up about it, schedule calls, and provide services you ask for. If you agree to receive texts, we use your mobile number to text you about your inquiry. Some of our replies are drafted with help from AI software, based on what you wrote to us.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or services that follow you to other websites. The site saves one small setting in your browser, whether you picked English or Spanish, so it remembers your choice next time.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Since we don't track visitors across websites, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends it.
Text messages
If you check the text message box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from Mercado Automation about your inquiry, including replies, follow-ups, and appointment scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. Our Terms of Service have the full text messaging terms.
How we share information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with anyone for marketing, including lead generators.
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host and our email, text messaging, and AI providers, and only so they can help us serve you. All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to help you and run our business, and then we delete it.
Your choices
You can stop our texts at any time by replying STOP. To see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, email josue@mercadoautomation.com.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or service can promise perfect security.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
